Sigh...

I'm in over my head. I need to figure my shit out. I'm so scared because I think what people have been telling me for the last week, is really what people have been telling me for the last six months. I've just been to afraid to see it until now. Not to say that I'm not scared now. I'm quite terrified actually. It just makes more sense now...

Flirtation Proclamation.

I have a flirting problem. This has always been the case, but it has recently intensified. It's due to a crush I've developed. I informed Kyle of this crush and he didn't seem to care, so I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm sure nothing will come of it, but it's still an interesting situation. I'm heading out to Vegas tonight and I'm quite excited for it. Eko seems to be getting anxious. I think he knows something is happening, and it probably involves me not being here, so he's a little antsy. I don't really have to much to say. I guess I will just add some of my newest banana art.

Pondering.

Sitting at a tattoo convention in Mesa watching Kyle getting his sleeve worked on. I sit and think of my day. Well my morning really.

I had a wonderful mountain run/hike this morning. It was just a little past seen. About 75 degrees. It just felt good. I had a new playlist blaring into my earholes and there was a slight breeze, especially when I was facing north. I ran the whole length down the mountain. The uphill side was a little slow going, but over all it was just so nice and pleasant. It's something I'm very glad I got into. It's a time of reflection and pleasantry.

Sticky!

You can tell it's been a long day when you're on Pinterest and your sidebar says "so-n-so is now following your pins" and you think it says "so-n-so is now following your penis". That's me right now. I'm also listening to Shakespeare's Henry VI (part two)and have now idea what's going on but David Tennant is playing Henry so I keep listening. Also it's his birthday! Hooray!

Tennant as Hamlet :)

I think Eko wants to eat my chinchilla, but what else is new?!

I've had a busy day too, not just long. I made a set of money cupcakes which I talked about on my Cake Blog. Most of my day revolved around that, but while I was at hobby lobby I found some drawer pulls on sale that I'm looking forward to putting on my craft dresser. My only dresser really, and it doesn't even have clothes in it. I picked up a few other things at hobby lobby for some ongoing crafts I have going on. Maybe someday I'll post about them here. After my nearly all day adventure in the kitchen, there was quite a mess. A white powdery, sticky mess that I just finished cleaning. I even mopped! Which is kind of a big deal. I'm already dreading tomorrow. As Arthur Dent once said " I never could get the hang of Thursdays." However, I have Friday off, which is the first day of Kyle's vacation, so at least I have something to look forward too.

Of Course...

I've spent to much time on Pinterest. That's ok though, I still have two hours to possibly accomplish what I had planned this morning , which really isn't much.

I'm trying not to stress about money.
I'm trying not to worry about little things.
I'm trying not to be frustrated with things out of my control.

I'm trying to stay positive and upbeat. I feel like I'm doing ok and I just need to keep moving forward even if I'm not sure which way is forward quite yet.

A day late.

Yesterday was such a wonderful Friday. I woke up early like all Fridays and went to bagel day. Karen brought her little 4 month old Colin, who is super cute and of course Camden was there too. I followed my mom home home since I had to go to the store anyways. Me , her and Camden go on over and i end up with a new blender and Legos! My mom is so wonderful in supporting my likes.

I hung out a bit since it was only 8:30 and the other places I needed to go didn't open until nine. Camden and I played hockey and learned from sesame street that the would of the day was "include". When nine rolled around, I went to the library and picked up 7 audio books! One of which is Shakespeare's dramatized reading of Henry VI played by David Tennant :) I'm kind of excited to listen to that one.

Eko was nearly out of food so Petsmart was next. While there I go a text from my sister Cori, about REALLY wanting Doritos. Since I was out and about I got her, her Doritos and some snacks for my old boss Dana too. When she saw me with the Doritos she did this fantastic Dorito dance out of excitement. I'm just glad I was there to witness it.

I finished the rest of my errand and was home about 11:30. I did some gardening stuff and ate food. Then I put on the Muppets and got down to playing with my Legos. The Hagrid's Hut I completed is so cool! And I finally have a Lego Ron. Then I made a carrot cake for the planned dinner with Dana (the first, not my boss) and Laura. While it was baking I washed dishes, then played JUST DANCE! Then I took a shower, frosted the cake, and by then Dana was there.

We drove out to Laura's and had a magnificent time. We ate and galavanted with the puppy. We deliberated over Laura's growing baby and belly. We talked about boys and friends and life. I always love getting togther with my girls, it's good to know you've got those friends that will stick with ya.

This whole week has been wonderful the only thing that would have made it better was seeing Kyle a bit more. Hopefully toay we can do lunch or something before I have to work tonight.

Banana Art!

I started doing banana art on accident almost towards the beginning of the year. We make banana smoothies at work and i was bored one day and noticed that one of my nails had puncture the banana skin. While the banana inside was fine, the flesh had darkend. Thus began banana art. I really enjoy it and thought about doing some guerrilla art in grocery stores, but I never got around to eat. Since my discovery of pinterest I've seen that other people acutaly do this and it is considered an art form. This is a little Doctor Who inspired BA I did today at work. It's kind of like pumpkin carving in a way. Definately something I wouldn't mind doing more of :)

Whew Wee,

It's been a long couple of days. The days have been good, just long. I actually completed most of my tasks I had set for my self on Friday. I got a lot accomplished and it felt really good. After all was said and done I went with my Monthly Foodie Club, to Haus Murphy's , which is this really great German restaurant in old town Glendale. We ate drank and were generally a merry bunch. I always enjoy our little outings.

Saturday I spent 6 hours cleaning and organizing my room. It was well worth it. I finished some small sewing projects I had set aside a while back and did some crafting. Later Kyle, Melia and I went to eat. Cori and I had a great plan to go on a moonlight hike, unfortunately the moon didn't even come up until half way through the hike. It ended up taking us two hours! We talked and chatting while walking on slippery rocks in the dark. It was a good time :)

Sunday was Easter and was fairly boring. I think the best thing was the fact that Kyle decided to watch Doctor Who. I know its' dumb, but it makes me super happy that he's taken and interest in my interest, so now we can be nerds together.

Monday, ah Monday. So Monday was the ninth, which is also the 6 year anniversary of Bradleys death. I posted a little quote on Facebook :

For B ~ " You were a shooting star amongst ordinary stars. Have you ever seen a shooting star, Jack? It's wonderful. It passes quickly, but while it's here it just lights up the whole sky - it's the most beautiful thing you'd ever want to see. So beautiful that the other stars stop and watch. You almost never see one.

Beacuse they're very rare. Quite rare. But I saw one. I did. " ♥

I thought about it when I woke up, of course. I always do leading up to it, and through out the year when I see something Bradley-esque.

While I was watering my garden that morning, all things Bradley were running through my head. I looked down and saw this
: The first sprout from my seed garden! Its so exciting that on a day when I'm thinking of the death of a friend, I see life! Life that I helped into the world. It made me think of a quote from The Talmud “Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow.'” I think of that quote often when I'm out gardening. I also sing to my plants and trees. Happy plants make a happy me! I also noticed I have a little strawberry growing in after the bird assault. His death day ended up being a reminder that there is life as well as death, the two go hand in hand I suppose.

So much.

Yesterday after my viciously long day at work, Kyle surprised me be taking me out for dinner. Just the two of us. It was really nice because that so rarely happens anymore. After wards we took the dogs for a little walk/run down in the green belt near our house. It was a really nice night.

Today I feel like there is just so much to do.
House work
Second job hunting
Yard work before the heat gets unbearable
Crafts
Shows
Cleaning
Planning for Vegas
Eating...

So much to do and so little time, better get to it.

End.

The end of the day, so far anyway, has been better than the start. Work was blah. Hanging out with Holly all night was fantastic! I have lots of pent up energy I wouldn't mind dancing out, but Melia is asleep so it'll have to wait till tomorrow. Instead, I'll visit pinterest and try not to spend hours on it.

Over?

While I should be getting ready for work or doing something else equally productive, I'm perusing Pinterest and updating my blog. Wednesday is my normal day off, but I'm working this week for the walk, so that's already put me off. I woke up to a crap dream that made me feel a multitude of feelings I haven't even begun to sort out. I'm not sure if I just want this day to be over already or if maybe it's to early to make any judgement calls. We'll see.

It's going to be a big, Big , BIG day.

Channeling my inner Effie there. I have so many things that I want to do, and so little time. I'm about to have even less too, since it's now that time to look for a second job...again. March was such a wonderful month. Working only one job allowed me to do so much, I sewed, gardened, watched an entire running or Doctor Who, went out with my friends. All kinds of wonderful things. I had the time to do it because I was only working one job. Now the funds are starting to run on the low side and a morning job is needed. Ideally I would like something early morning before I go into "real work".

Let's move on from the slightly depressing. Projects to do when I start raking in the money I'll hopefully soon be raking in. The first one is kind of funny in that it's a project to save the money for other projects. It's all in the planning stage right now, but basically I want to make, design, find a variety of vessels to hold money, and each one will have a designated activity or project. My hippo piggie bank will be for future admission fees for things similar to the mud run. My butterbeer mug will be for tattoo money. Other containers that I have yet to find/make will be for an assortment of things including but not limited to Vacation, Sewing Projects, Backyard Projects, Toys (mostly legos and mini-figures), and Media (books, movies, DVD's).

Right now it's all just an idea, but I'm hoping that writing it here willl hold me somewhat accountable for it.

Now to put pants on and start the big day.
