Another project that I have been working on is something that I planned out in January. Earlier in the year we got a closeout special on some glassware at work. I got a full case of beer Steins for about 8 bucks. I've been planning to engrave them for friends birthdays and other such events. I finally got around to getting a diamond bit for my Dremel and started working on them. I'm really excited and proud of how the first few turned out.

I actually want to look into seeing if I can get some more steins at cost and maybe make some of these to sell at a local farmers market or craft fairs. I think I could get a fetching price if I come up with good designs.

• I rode our new max transit bus to and from work the other day. It's a new 5 mile bus route that rune the whole length of town from north to south. From now until August 24 it's free to ride. So for the next two months that I'm living four and a half miles away from work, if I time it correctly I only have to bike 1 mile and then I could ride the bus for the last three. I like riding my bike in the morning when it's cool, but by the afternoon I get really hot and sticky riding the four and ahalf miles home so it's a nice alternate option. I still save money on gas and don't have to deal with trying to find parking down town.
• Spring is officially sprung. Everything is green and it's been raining between 430 and 5 o'clock every day for the past week. One of my favorite things that I witnessed over the past week is, on three separate occasions, dogs who are really happy rolling around in the grass. One was this large white dog that looked like he might have a Burmese Mountain dog or something. His owner was walking him and a smaller dog and when he decided to roll the grass there was nothing that the owner could do to stop it. The whole crew had to stop so whitey could enjoy the fresh grass.
I think that's about it. I'll try to keep updating more often. As of right now though, I'm just enjoying the spring air and lying in my hammock reading some library books. Cheers!
